CHIMERA
After mysterious attacks at the Taiwan Capitol and the American embassy
in Beijing, the White House suspects China of breaking a UN treaty against
the augmentation of humans with animal DNA – allowing applications
like strength and agility enhancement, physiological camouflage, radiation
immunity, and regeneration – and authorizes a black op into China
to ascertain the threat of a genetic arms race, while simultaneously preparing
for war. As the clock ticks and tensions mount in the Situation Room,
on the floor of the Senate, and in back-alley CIA safehouses and Pentagon
research labs, the enemy that soon emerges is unlike anything anyone
ever expected.

THE
CHRISSIE HYNDE STORY
Bio-pic on the life of the legendary lead singer of the Pretneders. After
fleeing her hometown of Akron, Ohio and Kent State University after the
1970 shootings, Chrissie Hynde moved to London and became a writer for
the weekly New Musical Exprees (NME) in 1973. She experienced the British
punk movement first hand, spending time with Mick Jones of the Clash and
Sid Vicious of the Sex Pistols. She formed the Pretenders and their 1979
album is one of the greatest debuts in rock history.
